Types of Data collected

Le Design Customs collects different types of personal data, such as cookies, usage data, email address, first and last name, and unique device identifiers for advertising. If you don't provide the necessary data, we may not be able to provide our services. We use cookies and tracking tools to provide the service required by the user, among other purposes. Users are responsible for obtaining consent from any third parties whose personal data is shared through Le Design. The data is processed using computers and/or IT tools and is protected from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or destruction.

Methods of processing

The data is kept secure by the Owner to prevent unauthorized access or modification. Computers and/or IT tools are used to process the data, following strict procedures and modes related to the stated purposes. Some individuals, like those in administration, sales, marketing, legal, or system administration, may have access to the data. External parties, such as third-party technical service providers, mail carriers, hosting providers, IT companies, or communications agencies, may also have access to the data if appointed as Data Processors by the Owner. A list of these parties can be obtained from the Owner upon request.

The Owner can process Users' Personal Data if:

The User has given consent for a specific purpose. The Data is necessary for the performance of an agreement with the User, or for any pre-contractual obligations. Processing is required to comply with a legal obligation. Processing is related to a task that is carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the Owner. Processing is necessary for the legitimate interests pursued by the Owner or by a third party. The Owner can help clarify which legal basis applies to the processing and whether the provision of Personal Data is required by law or contract.

Place

The Data is processed at the Owner's offices and other locations where the processing parties are located. Data transfers may involve transferring the User's Data to a country other than their own. Users can check the details about the processing of Personal Data to find out more about the place of processing for transferred data. If the data is transferred to a country outside the European Union or any international organization, Users are entitled to learn about the legal basis of Data transfers and the security measures taken by the Owner. Retention time

The Owner will keep Personal Data only for the duration required by the purposes for which they were collected. For instance, Personal Data collected for the performance of a contract will be retained until the contract is fully executed. Personal Data collected for the Owner's legitimate interests will be stored as long as necessary to fulfill such purposes. If the User consents to longer retention, the Owner may store Personal Data for an extended period, but only as long as the consent is valid. Legal obligations or orders from authorities may require the Owner to store Personal Data for longer than the retention period. When the retention period expires, the Owner will delete Personal Data, and the right to access, erasure, rectification, and data portability will no longer be enforceable.

The purposes of processing

It appears that the Owner collects User Data for a variety of purposes, including providing its Service, complying with legal obligations, responding to enforcement requests, protecting its rights and interests, detecting malicious or fraudulent activity, and for specific functions such as Tag Management, Analytics, User database management, Remarketing and behavioral targeting, Contacting the User, Advertising, Handling payments, Registration and authentication, Hosting and backend infrastructure, Social features, and Displaying content from external platforms.

The rights of Users

Users may exercise certain rights regarding their Data processed by the Owner. Users entitled to broader protection standards may exercise any of the rights described below. In all other cases, Users may inquire with the Owner to find out which rights apply to them.

In particular, Users have the right to do the following:

Withdraw their consent at any time. Users have the right to withdraw consent where they have previously given their consent to the processing of their Personal Data. Object to processing of their Data. Users have the right to object to the processing of their Data if the processing is carried out on a legal basis other than consent. This includes the right to object to the processing of their Data for direct marketing purposes. Access their Data. Users have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not Data is being processed by the Owner, and to access the Data and certain information about the processing. Verify and seek rectification. Users have the right to verify the accuracy of their Data and ask for it to be updated or corrected. Restrict the processing of their Data. Users have the right, under certain circumstances, to restrict the processing of their Data. Have their Personal Data deleted or otherwise removed. Users have the right, under certain circumstances, to obtain the erasure of their Data from the Owner. Receive their Data and have it transferred to another controller. Users have the right to receive their Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and, if technically feasible, to have it transmitted to another controller without any hindrance. This provision is applicable provided that the Data is processed by automated means and that the processing is based on the User's consent, on a contract which the User is part of, or on pre-contractual obligations thereof. Lodge a complaint. Users have the right to lodge a complaint with their competent data protection authority.

Details about the right to object to processing

The right to object to processing allows users to object to the processing of their Personal Data when it is being processed for a public interest, the exercise of an official authority vested in the Owner, or for the legitimate interests pursued by the Owner. To exercise this right, users must provide a ground related to their particular situation that justifies the objection. However, if the Personal Data is being processed for direct marketing purposes, users can object to the processing at any time without providing any justification. Users can refer to the relevant sections of the document to learn if the Owner is processing their Personal Data for direct marketing purposes.

How to exercise these rights

Users have certain rights regarding their personal data. They can withdraw their consent, object to processing, access their data, ask for it to be corrected, restrict processing, have it deleted or transferred, and file a complaint with their data protection authority. If they want to exercise these rights, they can contact the Owner for free and expect a response within one month.

Usage Data

Le Design (or third-party services used in Le Design) automatically collect information such as IP addresses or domain names of users' computers, URI addresses, request times, server response sizes and statuses, user browser and operating system features, duration of each page view, and the sequence of pages visited within the application. Other information about the user's device operating system and IT environment may also be collected.

User

The User of Le Design, who is typically the same person as the Data Subject unless otherwise stated.

Data Subject

The natural person to whom the Personal Data refers.

Data Processor (or Data Supervisor)

In this privacy policy, the Processor refers to a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body that processes Personal Data on behalf of the Controller.

Data Controller (or Owner)

"Data Controller" refers to the natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other entity that is responsible for deciding why and how Personal Data is processed, including the security measures used in operating and managing Le Design.
